H.R. 4232 “Protecting Local Authority and Neighborhoods Act" or “PLAN Act" deals with short-term rentals.

• Summary: Amends Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act to stop companies from profiting when they are knowing facilitating transactions of illegal goods and services.  The bill would ensure that community covenants addressing short-term rentals make it clear that Section 230 does not shield short-term rental platforms from complying with state and local laws.
