CAI recognizes that a natural disaster can strike at any time and have a devastating impact on a community association and its residents. CAI's mission is to foster a sense of community, especially during such times, as neighbors come together to prepare and recover.
CAI encourages all associations to arm themselves with a range of resources to help residents survive, recover, and rebuild if a disaster occurs in their community. Below are some specific resources, particularly for the most recent wildfire disaster in California.
Be aware that FEMA does NOT reimburse community associations that remove debris from private roads. We strongly encourage you to review the guideline for removing debris NOW.
