Coordinator, Membership Engagement 

Hybrid position (In Falls Church, VA office 1-2 days/week) (remote candidates may be considered) 

General Summary 

The Coordinator, Membership Engagement is a key position responsible for initiatives related to member engagement. We are seeking someone who is member-focused, constantly considering ways to drive engagement, motivated by the opportunity for growth, and excited to join a dedicated and efficient team. The position reports to the Senior Director, Membership Development & Operations while working closely with marketing, communications and membership teams. 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain online communities of students, international members, retired members and other specialized membership groups. 

  • Assist with website updates, member communications, e-marketing, data updates and data analysis through various organization-wide and membership platforms. 

  • Support specialized membership categories through programmatic engagement and administrative support. (ex. Students, international and others) 

  • Assist in developing and maintaining engagement programs, such as mentoring. 

  • Assist with events and programs related to new members and first-time attendees at CAI events and conferences. 

  • Collect and track data across engagement programs. 

  • Additional tasks related to membership engagement and administration. 

 

Requirements 

Minimum of a two-year associate degree, bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience. Office and/or association experience required. Minimum of 2-4 years related membership, engagement, or customer service experience. 

 

  • Strong relationship-building mindset with a passion for finding new and creative ways to engage and deliver value to members. 

  • Motivation to improve engagement and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to meet membership goals. 

  • Able to deliver effective results, prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously. 

  • Solid technology skills: MS Office, online community management, netFORUM or other web-based association management system (AMS). 

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. The salary range for this position is $50-55,000. Applications will be accepted through March 31st. Interviews will be conducted between April 1-12, 2024.
