CAI Texas Legislative Action Committee is CAI’s official voice with legislators and regulators in the State.
Our mission is simple – together, CAI Texas Legislative Action Committee advances, defends, protects, and strengthens public policy for the community association housing model.
This committee allows CAI to speak with a cohesive voice on legislative and regulatory matters that affect community associations, community association managers, and business partners. We will provide education for all members and other stakeholders on all proposed forthcoming legislation and develop a legislative agenda for CAI members and engage our lobbyist team to implement our agenda which will be determined by feedback from our membership.
TRANSPARENCY and COMMUNICATION are our primary focus-- we will be providing monthly updates throughout the year to our Members and communities regarding TLAC’s activities and spending.
