Community Associations Institute (CAI), the leading international authority in community association education, governance, and management, is proud to be recognized with five EXCEL awards by Association Media & Publishing, a premier membership organization serving the needs of association publishers, communications professionals, and designers.
Association professionals from around the country gathered at the National Housing Center in Washington, D.C., on Monday, June 24, for the 2019 EXCEL Awards Gala, an annual event to recognize excellence and leadership in nonprofit association media, publishing, and communications.
CAI's flagship publication Common GroundTM magazine accepted three awards, including a gold award in feature article design for “Free and Clear," a silver for the “Smoke Out" cover illustration (pictured at left), and a bronze for general excellence.
CAI's popular bimonthly newsletter Community Manager accepted two awards, including a silver award in newsletter editorial excellence and a bronze in general excellence. Written for and about community association management professionals, Community Manager has a circulation of more than 14,500 readers worldwide.
