Community Associations Institute (CAI) awarded 243 career-enhancing designations—including 77 Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) credentials—between July 1 and Dec. 31, 2015. More than 2,700 managers have now earned a PCAM designation, the most prestigious and respected credential for community association managers.
The following designations also were awarded during the six-month period:
- Association Management Specialist (AMS)—159
- Large-Scale Manager (LSM)—3
- Reserve Specialist (RS)—2
- Community Insurance and Risk Management Specialist (CIRMS)—2
In addition, 48 professionals earned CAI's Educated Business Partner (EBP) distinction during the six-month period, bringing to 161 the number Educated Business Partners.
The number of AMS recipients now exceeds 7,400, while the number of CIRMS recipients has passed 115. Three hundred professionals have earned the RS designation, while almost 100 community managers hold the specialized LSM credential.
