Community Association Institute Gathers all Resources in One Catalog

4/21/2000  -  Alexandria, VA
Community Associations Institute, the nation's number one provider of materials and resources for community and homeowners associations has assembled a comprehensive catalog of all its offerings. For the first time, all resources, not just publications, are included in one resource catalog. "We have expanded into so many other areas recently—such as e-news services—that we felt we needed to include everything in our catalog, not just our books," said Carol Marty, Senior Director of Marketing for CAI.

In addition to the books, the new Resource Catalog now includes a list of CAI's ever-growing family of electronic resources including electronic newsletters, web sites, and a news release service. Also listed is an overview of CAI's extensive education program, information about participating in the advocacy network, and course information for homeowner education and professional development. Brochures, videos, and periodicals complete the mix.

CAI's annual book catalog has been a favorite each year among its members because new products come on line regularly. However, members are especially pleased now to have one handy reference. "This is great," said Missy Donovan of Assurance Management Services, Inc. of Herndon, Virginia, "All I need is this one catalog, and I can quickly find anything CAI has to offer." Also new in 2000, CAI members receive a 40 percent discount on any books in the 2000 Resource Catalog. "We decided to increase the value of membership by going to a standard 40 percent discount for our members—a substantially deeper discount than we have ever given before," stated Kris Cook, Senior Vice President for CAI.

A free copy of the catalog is available by calling CAI Central at (703) 548-8600, or view it in its entirety on CAI's website.

The Community Associations Institute is a nonprofit association created in 1973 to educate and represent the nation's 205,000 community associations—condominium associations, homeowner associations and cooperatives. CAI members include homeowners, associations and related professionals and service providers.
