Award-winning Web Site for Condo, Homeowner Associations Debuts Redesign

8/2/1999  -  Alexandria, VA

New features and more flexible navigation are among the improvements unveiled in a comprehensive redesign of the Community Associations Institute's popular web site. More than 50,000 visitors per month access the leading national site for information on condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations, which offers a research library; news; legislative, legal and regulatory updates; a bookstore with nearly 100 specialized guides, books and audio-visual resources; and a national job bank among its features.

"With more interactive features—surveys, pictures of community associations and stories about their 'best practices,' and opportunities to ask CAI experts for advice—we hope the redesigned www.caionline.org helps community associations build community spirit and operate efficiently and effectively," said Keith Soares, CAI's director of Web Development. "Homeowners, journalists, researchers, managers, attorneys, builder/developers and other providers of community association products and services will now be able to surf audience-specific content to get information tailored to their needs."

The Community Associations Institute is a nonprofit association created in 1973 to educate and represent the nation's 205,000 community associations—condominium associations, homeowner associations and cooperatives. CAI members include homeowners, associations and related professionals and service providers.
