- At least three years (36 months) of experience preparing reserve studies.
 - Prepare at least 30 reserve studies for community associations based on visual on-site observations over the last three years (36 months), with a minimum of 20 being Level I
or Level II. - Hold a bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering (or equivalent experience and education), or meet other requirements options.
 - Comply with strict rules of conduct outlined by the Professional Reserve Specialist Code of Ethics.
 - Submit all parts of the application and pay required fee:
	
- $320 for business partner members.
 - $590 for nonmembers.

 - Redesignate every three years by Aug. 1 of your redesignation year by submitting the redesignation form and required client listing.
