Senior Vice President, Membership & Chapter Relations

Crystal Wallace, CAE, IOM, is senior vice president, membership & chapter relations. With nearly 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, she directs chapter relations, membership, and member services focusing on member engagement and value.

Wallace oversees programs to strengthen chapters, leads recruitment and retention strategies, and facilitates strategic planning and leadership development for CAI chapters. She serves as staff liaison to the Business Partners Council and leads CAI’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Previously, Wallace was executive vice president of CAI’s Washington Metropolitan Chapter where she doubled sponsorship income, increased advertising revenue, and managed one of the largest community association conferences in the U.S. She holds the Certified Association Executive credential and the Institute for Organizational Management certificate. Based in Northern Virginia, Crystal is graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in finance.
