ADVOCATING FOR WORKFORCE INVESTMENT
CAI is among several hundred trade associations advocating for legislation that would expand eligible uses of tax-favorable 529 savings plans to cover costs associated with workforce training and credentialing programs. The bipartisan, bicameral legislation would provide resources for workers who pursue alternative career pathways, mid-career changes, or career growth. [Read More]

CORPORATE TRANSPARENCY ACT RULED UNCONSTITUTIONAL
The enforcement and applicability of the Corporate Transparency Act was thrown into question after a federal court ruled the anti-money laundering law unconstitutional in early March. The federal government appealed the decision. CAI is urging members to contact their senators and ask them to definitively exempt community associations from the law’s requirements. [Read More]
