M-100, The Essentials of Community Association Management

Managing a successful co-operative housing society starts with the essentials. CAI's M-100 course is the only comprehensive community association management course providing an advanced yet practical overview for new managers, an essential review for veteran managers, and tools and resources for residents. Topics include:

  • Roles and responsibilities of managers, owners, committees, and the board

How do I register for an online course?

​You can register online for a course with a credit card, and have immediate access to the course by selecting it from the catalog of CAI's online products at http://cai.mycrowdwisdom.com/diweb/catalog.​

What features are unique to the online courses?

The online courses typically contain: (1) audio to reinforce learning, (2) end-of-lesson quizzes and (3) numerous interactive activities. (4) Immediate electronic certificate of passed exam.

How long are the online courses?

11-14 hours for the M-100

How does the final exam work?

Final exams for online courses are included in the course at the end. The M-100 exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. Learners must receive a score of 70% to pass the course. If the learner does not achieve 70%, he or she will have one additional opportunity to retake the exam.

Will I receive continuing education credit for the online courses?

All of CAI’s online courses and webinars offer continuing education credit toward CAI credentials.

What technology or equipment do I need to take an online course?

CAI's online courses include flash-based exercises and quizzes and therefore require an internet browser that supports this such as the latest version of Google Chrome. Our courses may not function properly in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari. Our online courses also must be taken on a PC or laptop computer; at this time our courses are not compatible with mobile devises. Learn more about the technical requirements for taking a CAI online course or webinar.
