Apply for Community Association Managers Council

​​​​​​MRGSelfNomsWebMgrsHdr.jpgNominate yourself for one of six open positions on the Community Association Managers Council:

    • CEO of Management Compan​y (two openings)

      • ​The one person in the management company ultimately responsible for running the company and not necessarily the person directly supervising management staff.
    • Large-Scal​e Manager (one opening)

      • An on-site, full-time manager of a single, contiguous community association with a minimum of 1,000 units or a minimum of 1,000 acres, and a minimum annual operating budget of 2 million dollars.
    • Other Mana​​​ger (not a CEO or Large-Scale Manager) (one opening)

      • Any person responsible, directly or indirectly, for the management of community associations who is not a CEO or Large-Scale Manager. Examples include on-site managers of properties with fewer than 1,000 units, managers of more than one association, and individuals who supervise managers and management teams. They may be employed by a management firm, an association, or be self-employed.
    • At-Large Positions (two openings)
      • May be filled by any type of manager types.

​All open ​​positions are for two-year terms beginning January 1, 2021, and will be filled via election in August. Eligible ​voting members will be notified at that time

Please read all of the qualifications and time/service commitments​ carefully before applying. You must meet all of the qualifications to be included in the election.​

Community Association Managers Council candidates must meet the following qualifications in addition to the general MRG requirements:

    • Must be an individual manager member or the designated chief executive officer or equivalent of a management company holding a CAI membership
    • Individual managers must hold a PCAM designation. In the case of a designated chief executive officer (or equivalent) of a management company who does not hold a PCAM, his or her company must hold an AAMC​ credential.
    • Must not have been officially sanctioned or otherwise censured by CAI relative to a C​AI designation during the past 10 years 

No more than two individuals employed by the same company may serve on the Community Association Managers Council at ​the same time. Individuals from different companies that are subsidiaries or partners, or are structured as subordinate entities to another organization or entity, are considered to be employed by the same company.
