Congratulations! Your session was accepted for the 2016 Law Seminar. Below is the checklist and timeline for your materials as well as the PowerPoint template you will use when creating your visual presentation.

Online registration will be available in November. The dinner will be at the House of Blues with a live band. The group will have an escorted parade through the French Quarter arriving at the House of Blues by 7 pm for dinner and dancing.
Handouts are due
DRAFT - November 1, 2015
FINAL - December 1, 2015
Send in outlines, handouts, and PowerPoint presentations. Refer to the "Specifications for Presentations Handouts" and the "Specifications for PowerPoint Presentations" sheet before sending. Your Point of Contact (POC) will review all presentations before they are considered final. Please email handouts to your POC and hcarson@caionline.org.
Registration
Speakers do need to register if planning to attend the Law Seminar. Registration is $649 by December 18, 2015 and $699 after December 18, 2015. The registration for Law Seminar includes all educations sessions, post-seminar recordings of all sessions, the 2016 Proceedings CD-ROM, continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks, lunches, and a reception on Friday evening. If you are a first-time presenter you are required to listen to a 30-minute, pre-recorded webinar on presentation techniques.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Credits
Attorneys
The Law Seminar submits for CLE credit in nearly 30 states. In past years, the Law Seminar has qualified for 15-20 hours of CLE credits in most states. You must be registered for and sign in both days to receive CLE credit. Sign-in will be at the registration desk.
Insurance Agents
Attention Insurance Agents: State continuing education units (CEU) for insurance agents is pending. Agents must complete all 5.5 hours of the CIRMS Insurance Master's Program to earn CEUs. Special thanks to Community Association Underwriters of America Inc. for their CEU sponsorship.
