2018 Advocacy Summit

Let Your Voice Be Heard!

This spring, you have an unparalleled opportunity to represent and advocate for the 69 million Americans living in community associations by attending the 2018 Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C. 

Held one day prior to the 2018 CAI Annual Conference and Exposition, the one-day advocacy event takes place on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at the U.S. Capitol. 

During the summit, you’ll take part in the following on behalf of your fellow community association members and clients:


The purpose of the Summit is to:
  • Meet with Members of Congress to provide them with information about important community association issues.
  • Engage in strategic conversation regarding federal and state legislative priorities.
  • Exchange information about technology resources for grassroots efforts, position statements, talking points and model legislation.
  • Hear from federal regulatory officials on topics of interest for community associations including housing finance, disaster recovery, flood insurance, and more.

CAI Government Affairs team will schedule your meetings with your Members of Congress. If you have a personal relationship with your Member and prefer to schedule the meeting, please let us know. Otherwise, you may plan on CAI scheduling your meeting and providing you with the materials necessary to be effective advocates.
