Events—Conferences and Seminars

National conferences and seminars provide education and networking opportunities for community association managers, community volunteer leaders, and professionals such as lawyers, accountants, CEOs, real estate agents, reserve study providers, insurance professionals, and other interested stakeholders. Many conference programs provide continuing education credit for renewal of professional designations.

National Conferences
CAI's spring National Conference and Exposition provides education sessions on operations, leadership, innovative business practices, and new and reliable products and services. Colleagues from around the nation come together to discuss relevant issues, network, and learn about the latest community association trends.

APCM Workshop for Managers
CAI's new one-day event designed exclusively for community management professionals. The program's focus is career and professional development and includes sessions on career goal setting, communications and professionalism.

Law Seminar
CAI's annual Law Seminar brings together attorneys who specialize in community association law as well as managers and other professionals who desire a working knowledge of community association law.

CEO-MC Retreat
Each summer, CEOs of community association management companies network with colleagues from across the country and attend sessions geared specifically for CEOs.

Large-Scale Managers Workshop
Each fall, CAI's Large-Scale Managers Committee hosts an annual workshop for community managers specializing in large-scale communities. The workshop is hosted by at least one large-scale community and participants spend three days touring properties and attending innovative education sessions specifically designed for the large-scale community manager.

Chapter Programs
CAI's chapters provide seminars and workshops for local members. Visit the chapter page to find contact information and the latest event in your area.

Professional community managers may also gain skills and earn credential through the Professional Management Development Program (PMDP).
