The member company name has to be the same for all chapter memberships. Only one member contact per chapter listing. All memberships share the same expiration date. One renewal invoice of $7500 (plus the mandatory LAC fee—see below, and the Foundation for Community Association Research contribution) is sent annually to the corporate billing contact. The number of CAI chapters may vary.

A $15 advocacy support fee per state will be added to the National Corporate Membership. The $15 advocacy support fee is the primary source of funds for CAI's legislative and regulatory efforts. All fees from members in states with an authorized CAI Legislative Action Committee (LAC) (there were 27 state LACs as of Jaunuary 1, 2004) directly support the LACs' efforts to represent and protect members in those states.
